The Ledger

Every name that keeps the lamp lit.

Steward is free and stays free. This is the page where the debt gets written down: the people who pay for the hosting, who fixed the code, who sharpened the copy, who told someone else, and who found the bug before your table did.

The first page is blank. This ledger opens today with every column empty and every line waiting. If you support Steward from here on, this is where your name goes, written exactly the way you ask for it, or left out entirely if you would rather not be named.

How a name gets written here

  1. You help in any of those five ways. Money, code, copy, word of mouth, a good bug report. All five columns count, and none of them outranks another on this page.
  2. You say how you want to be written. A first name, a full name, a table name, a handle, a channel. Whatever you send is what gets used.
  3. You are never added by default. Nothing appears here until you say yes. If you say nothing you stay unnamed, and only the count changes.
  4. You can be taken off at any time. Write to hello@stewardrpg.com and the line is struck out, no questions asked.

What a name here is never worth

  • It never buys a class, a subclass, a feature or a rule. Those belong to everyone, funded or not.
  • It is never ranked by how much was given. Inside a column the order is alphabetical, nothing else.
  • No amount is ever published next to a name, or anywhere on this site.
  • No name is ever published without permission, and no name is ever sold or shared.

Steward says: I keep two ledgers. One counts coin, and only I read it. This is the other one.
